Beneteau Oceanis listed and sold by Elliott Bay Yacht Sales Power or sail · listed, marketed & sold by Elliott Bay Yacht Sales
The Brief

A listing is easy. Selling is the work.

"Every owner thinks their boat is special. Our job is to find the one buyer who agrees — at a number you can live with."

A YachtWorld listing puts your vessel in front of the world. But the closings happen because we pick up the phone and call someone we already know is looking. After three decades on Elliott Bay, that Northwest network runs deep — and we work both power and sail.

Then the outreach begins
01

Listing agreement & market read

Day One

We review comparable Puget Sound transactions across YachtWorld and our own sale history. You get a recommended price band and a confidential reserve, in writing, before you sign.

02

Photography & walkthrough

Days Two & Three

Exterior, interior, engine room, and a broker-voiced walkthrough on the water. Every asset we produce becomes yours — regardless of who eventually sells the boat.

03

Spec sheet & story

Day Four

Full equipment manifest, maintenance summary, and a clear one-page narrative. Buyers fall for the story; the spec sheet closes them.

04

Multi-channel publication

Day Five

Synchronized listing across YachtWorld and elliottbayyachtsales.com, with search exposure activated the same day.

05

Named buyer outreach

Day Six

We personally contact the active buyers in our network who've wanted your category. No mass mailers — direct, named introductions, including up in the North Sound.

06

Co-brokerage network

Day Seven

Outreach to trusted Northwest co-brokers from Olympia to the San Juans and across to the islands. The right buyer often keeps their boat at another dock.

07

Showings, sea trials, close

Week Two & beyond

Survey coordination, sea-trial logistics, escrow, and documentation — with a broker who reads the survey like a yard manager. One number that always picks up.

Plainly stated

The commission.

No upfront fees
Standard

Industry-standard 10%

Covers all photography, listing fees, marketing, network distribution, and the closing process. We earn when you sell — not before.

Co-brokerage

Split with cooperating brokers

If a co-broker brings the buyer, the commission is split at no extra cost to you — the same fee covers both sides of the table.

Larger vessels

Negotiated on bigger boats

For larger or higher-value yachts, commission can be structured separately and agreed in writing before you sign. Just ask.

What you keep

All the assets

Every photograph, video, and measurement we produce is yours — whether or not we close the deal. Period.

Tell us about the boat.

Make, model, year, hours, and which dock she sits at. We'll get back to you fast — and friendly.
